i called you today
you answered me so brightly
i just had to smile

the telephone rings
i just cannot wait to hear
the sound of your voice

i am calling you
not really to ask anything
but just to touch you

a conversation
is a kind of connection
between you and me

a telephone line
connects this juliet to
her sweet romeo
