how to break out of my shell
and be a soft marshmallow peep
i'd have to find new words
pliant
docile
meek
the muscles of my will
would have to comply
supple
resilient
applied
and pen to hand
would to take a dive
and not rhyme all the time
vulnerable, defenseless, exposed
like pinnoccio's penis that grows and grows
cause he's a real boy, just like me
lies all lies, in a box i live comfortably
so i'll say
silver
orange
silver
orange
and leave myself in a pickle
true love is my hesitation
the demons of the crucifixion my muse
The step it takes to speak
of what my heart holds dear
is likened to a boy of wood
who unwittingly asked if
he may.
