where, in Autumn, did you roam?
Seeking boardwalks, sand, and foam?
Some new ocean's spray?
Greetings Summer, welcome sun;
where, in Winter, did you run?
Were you with the ockqutchaun
sleeping months away?
Greetings Summer, welcome back-
Spring had barely time to pack;
Fall will amble down the track
one September day.
