We can do this! We can fill this slam! I know it says poems about Death and Suicide but if you look at the comments I spoke with the originator who agreed to open the categories to a wider meaning. Death can be about anything dying and doesn’t have to be limited to a person. It can be a pet, end of a relationship, changing of seasons, in a broader sense anything that has ended. So use those wonderful imaginations and take a spot and help us fill this slam. Just go to this link and click on any of the empty slots. You can then change any poem you want and once happy click I’m done and you are in the slam! Please help get this one to the active side of the board! Thank you!

oh my...some of the slams have hundreds of empty slots. they won't fill. and there are several slots filled by deleted users, and a couple slams started by the same...what happens with those? is there a way for the originator of a slam to edit the number of slots?

I am working on filling one of the larger slams now and we only need fourteen more poets to fill that one. Yes, some of the slams are quite large but eventually they all fill.

and yes, some are up there so long that some of the poets leave the site and their slots now read deleted user, but that is only for that first round. so the person next to them gets a free ride the first round but will have a competitor the second round.

no, once a slam is set there is no way to edit it.

well, there are only 14 slots left to fill in this slam and I will then move onto another one. lol! We can do this! I know to some it looks impossible but nothing is impossible if you believe it can be done and I believe I can do this. Naysayers be gone! lol!

thanks for the encouragement andye! I don't have the time I used to so am working on one slam at a time now, but yes, I am still the "slam filler!" lol! I should change my name from zbird to slamfiller
