.

you are my emotional lobotomy
amputated from my still life

fingerpainted spirits
engorged oils burst
dripping across creaking canvasses

easels with splintered shins

creamed in ebony & ivory
invisibly apparent

shock treated with blue electro gell
smeared with the erasure
of your madness

on to hot temples
soothing my mind
rewound
in coils
hooded up cobra'd
to spit you out of the eyes
of my experience

your venom
into splatterd beakers
cracked leaking
your milked toxins
into the dry dust
of unfermented
firmaments

scuffed chalk eaten on the
blackboard of my past

.

*edit as per hugh's suggest.

Very unique and compelling painting metaphors in this. I like the use of language. I would prefer "you" spelled out, rather than "u" in S6L6. Not that big of a deal, though.

Hmm, I enjoyed this very much. Is it just me, or is there a certain type of sarcasm on this poem? I get this feel when reading the 'rhythm' of it. Something in this poem sounds very sadistic in tone, which enhances the musicality and dark metaphors of it.

hmmm...perhaps some biting irony, or a little of that, at least.
the tone and dark notes of the imagery are dipped deeply in the marquis de sade, raven quilled dank ink unwell.

thanks again for feeling 'it'.

the biting gloss of griping guffaws stinging stung songs in mellow malice.
within the warped pin-ink, eye.cry.
