I recently bought a new computer and now when I try to view any of the topics in any of the forums or clubs, all I get is a bunch of boxes with red x's in them and a really strange looking list of the topics. When I click on a topic from that strange looking list, instead of the topic thread I get the poet's homepage, again with nothing but boxes with red x's intead of pictures and avatars. The finished poem page is the same way! I thought that something had been changed on my GP account but when I hooked my old computer back up, everything is fine. Has anyone else ever experienced this problem and if so, what did you do to fix it? Thanks to anyone that can help me with this.

What you're seeing on your new computer screen sounds like a problem I had after changing internet service providers - granted, a far different situation but maybe this will help ...
I switched from using "Internet Explorer" as my browser to using "Google Chrome" and waa-laa, everything looks and acts perfectly normal now.
Good luck - Mary Ann

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it soooo much. I've tried to download google chrome onto my new computer but for some reason, it won't download. I've never heard of opera, but I'll try that next.

Firefox works perfectly, but you have to make sure you enable java and all that fun stuff.
This website is built using certain scripts and if those scripts are blocked, well, things look funky.
But I use IE (ew) for testing, Firefox as my primary browser and Chrome as my secondary browser when I need to have more than one Gmail account open at a time.
