Now is the time to submit your nominations for the 2005 anthology of Gotpoetry.com works. Read through the forums and reply to the posted poem with at least the word "nominate". An explanation as to why you're nominating the poem would be even better.
All poetry from all poetry forums will be considered.
All Authors who are nominated will then be contacted by the Gotpoetry.com staff for permission to publish their work.
The nominated poems will be selected through a closed jury process.
Poetry in the www.gotpoetry.com/News/topic=7.html Poems and Verse section may be nominated as well. Leave a comment to nominate them.
Anonymous nominations may be done by private messaging me, Gotpoety. (And its totally ok and fine to nominate a poem of your own that you are proud of in this manner if you're the bashful type.)

I really need you members to do this and I really want you to.
Spend some time browsing around and finding poems that catch your eye.
Ok?

I'm going to nominate two for me. I am only doing this because I don't see anyone nominating anyone else, so...
www.gotpoetry.com/Foru...=1561.html
and
www.gotpoetry.com/Foru...27215.html
I've read both of these out at poetry readings, and i've also got some great feedback from them, and also, most importantly, it's nice to take on the personae of the creepy old guy as of late. Might as well throw them in the anthology. (plus the names are awesome).

I would like to nominate "Judiciary" by Thinkums, you can find it under "anyone want to rewrite this" posted by Gotpoetry in the evilworkshop. Out of all Thinkums work this was my favorite. "Stendal Syndrome" is another one.

I'd like to nominate "Polish Hall, Uxebridge, MA" by Tony (in the Post a Poem forum) and "Kinds of Poets" by Madpoet (in the Evil Workshop forum)...and I second Natey's two poems (that he already self-nominated). Erica
P.S. Is it actually a published anthology?? Or is it online? Just curious.

Nominations closed January 5th.
www.gotpoetry.com/News...=1429.html
I'll keep these in mind for the Zines this years.
FYI, the book is done for all intents and purposes. I just need to approve the back cover and give it a final proof reading and then it will be off to the printers for the 1st pre-production copy. Once that is approved it will be available online through Barnes and Nobel and Amazon after about 6 weeks. It will be available right away through LuLu.com the print on demand publisher.

Thos poets who are published in the Anthology should have recieved an email by now. For some of those poets with bouncing email, this is your notice to check this page: www.gotpoetry.com/Groups/g=27.html
If your name is on the list then your poem is in the Anthology.
You can then go to this page: www.gotpoetry.com/Down...id=30.html and download a .pdf copy of the book and let me know via Private Message of anything thats a problem with you.
You only have a few days before the last test copy is done by the printers, so speak up soon.

I can't access it. It says that it cannot open the file. Is that just because of my computer??
