Your latest blog entry is now able to be displayed on your profile page. Read your profle page for instructions on how to activate that feature.

Remade footer of the site. More info, better organization. Removed some duplicate links in main menu. Changed header of the site to remove downloads link and insert poems link.

Added detailed RSS feeds for each News Topic. Read and article on the main page and look to the right.

For the www.gotpoetry.com/Poems.html section, you are now able to submit a Poem Modification request for your own poems.

If you made a mistake or need to edit your poems, you can now submit those changes to us and we will then review those changes and then apply them to your poem.

Also, the ratings look a little nicer with graphical stars, etc.

I added subscriptions to the site. You can subscribe for 1 month, 1 year, or for life.

1 month is $10
1 year is $25
Lifetime is $250

All existing members who have ever donated money have been given a 1 year free subscription.

Subscribers gain access to extra features of the site, such as the paid members forum, certain modules. Over the next few weeks I'll be making it so paid members see little to no advertising.

Add to this Poem Comments. Now if you set the above to yes, you will also recieve an email if someone leaves a comment to your poem in the poems section.

If you comment on a poem, you get some karma. There is a formula to prevent massive commenting spam scams for karma, so that is why karma has decimals. Just go with it.

I know. You'd have 1000 karma!

Added problem post notification:

Topic_Report - If you feel like there's a post that needs to be brought to our attention because of spam or harassment or something else, you will now find at the bottom of a topic an icon that looks like this:



Click it and it will notify the staff members that there is a post to pay closer attention to.

Revamped some code. Moved other code. Sped things up by .5 or more seconds here and there.

Custom profiles are coming along. Check mine out for an example.

Use above to see your custom profile. Keep in mind that anything you do might have to be wiped out as we work on this. Also full functionality will be the thank you to subscribers.

Had to add a Captcha (Security Code) to the contact_us form. We were getting too much spam.

Ok. The custom profile is up, so if a paid member has created a custom profile (like myself and hotstuff have) when you click on thier profile it will show. If you just click on My_account, it will not show. You have to click the <My public profile> link to see it.

The Personal Page Designer link allows you to create your custom profile.

Right now there is no way to delete your profilel and go back to the default. Thats coming. Eventually sample layouts will be available so you can choose a new one without building it. Sometimes blocks wrap. Thats being worked on too.
