romantic swell of night,
pregnant with remorse,
ripe with oblivion,
hanging starry in the woods
like a drunken poet
finding words inadequate
to express the silence of her heart.

in this frozen moment,
like no other moment we've ever known,
i love you like some Greek potter
hell bent on truth and beauty
and other delusions of spirit.

time
and other concepts that need a limit to define them
no longer mean anything.
and, in that meaningless dream, all is meaning,
all is connection.

and your hand
held tentatively on my chest,
hangs as tiny as rain,
whispering of infinity.

a truly wise friend once told me that the beauty we see in the world is but a reflection of the beauty we find in ourselves.... in loving, i learn how to love it all. thanks for being there.

This is is beautiful but beauty is a word too limited in its pretense to describe the rush of emotion that enveloped me from "romantic swell of night pregnant with remorse" to "time and other caoncepts that need a limit to define them . . ." all the way to "tiny as rain whispering of infinity". It left me completely satasfied and screaming for more at the same time. OK I'll shut up before I ruin the moment but not before I commend you on your poetic masterpiece.
