Local poets Peter Wyton and Adam Horowitz will be performing their poems and there will also be an open-mic competition!

The event is in aid of Amnesty’s Arms Control Campaign. This is very topical as many people don’t realize that a lot of the arms and torture equipment being used right now to suppress the population of Burma has been exported from the UK. There will be an opportunity to sign letters calling for stricter government controls of their export.
