Thanks Andye. I am from New Jersey, and still have lots of family there. My parents lost power yesterday, but they were prepared for it.

Hi Hugh, that is good to hear. I hope the best for yours' and everyones'
family and friends.
In the Courier Mail it's a bit dodgy like the Sunday Post, I have a link to a photographic scene of the sh#t.

This is an example of the photos Australia was receiving.
All the best girls and guys.

That link is what is happening here on the east coast. So much damage and clean up ahead for everyone. The ocean has yet to quiet and the skies are still dark.

My friends in New York City say that it is hard to imagine going out and being "normal" right now. Many still without light and still looking out to streets with water. But New Yorkers are tough stock. I've been following their adventures in the storm. Luckily all my loved ones are accounted for and are safe and dry. I hear reports that the wine is still flowing and that canned ravioli is delicious.

If I had actually bought the lovely beach cottage in Point Pleasant, New Jersey that I put an offer on two years ago, my home would be gone. As it is I only lost my earnest money when I decided to return to mostly safe and sound Washington State...
All our friends and family are safe, but Lucy, our favorite spreading ?? tree in the back yard at Lew's Mom's house in Hillsborough, New Jersey collapsed. Sad to think of summer with no Lucy there to shade picnics in his Mom's sunny garden patio.
R.I.P Lucy the tree - I suppose it's just a small loss to some, but Lucy was a big deal to me. Thanks Andye...

Ahhhh... your thoughtful wishes are so appreciated. To lose a family tree is to lose an old, respected friend. I've heard midnight sawyers roam Seattle as well, opening up million dollar views for upscale peepers. Seems obvious who... or should I say whom?
Wishing everyone well on the east coast... too early wind and snow this year. May all heat and power be on soon.

Mary Ann, to get a river/sea view, damn old trees are having poison drilled into them, it keeps occurring about the City Of Brisbane, some are so very old
and it upsets me in a big way.
Keep it up my US friends
