World of TERROR

Dead letters floating over blood red boundaries,
Voices calling from far away,
Crying for help, screams for survival,
Tensions rising, guns blazing,
Nuclear deals and animosities,
Diabolic schemes and corrupt deeds,
Inhumanely cold, devastating violence,
With power hungry nations.

Suicide bombers,
Talk of the century,
Democracy being substituted for terrorism.
Lame, false promises,
Coming from all directions.
Intimidating actions, frustrating reactions,
AK47’s rolling with triumph,
Un-alarming selfless attacks.
Unity, peace and harmony,
Does it exist?

F16’s a flying demon,
Hatred in a class of its own,
Life has never been taken so seriously!
Existing with new fears each day.
Warships and heavily armed tanks,
Spreading their love among innocent humans,
Be it infants or elderly,
As if anyone qualified for a concession?

Has mankind gone insane?
Why don’t we realise,
Another world war is inevitable,
But we continue walking in its path.
Should I be writing about this?
Everyone knows it,
Can we expect a change of heart?
From irresponsible to a caretaker.
I hope we all get an answer to these questions,
Before it is too late for this world of terror.
