You Said That... by Makoto
You said that I was poor,
I expect that a richer man will buy a bigger diamond ring.
You said that I was dull,
Perhaps you'll meet a movie star or someone else more entertaining.
You said that I was a coward,
I hope that a brave knight in shining armor rides up with his white steed.
You said that I was lazy,
No doubt you'll find a more devoted friend to care for your every need.
You said that I was clumsy,
It's possible that a more agile suitor will be able to turn you on.
You said that I was a loser,
Maybe someday you'll crown your very own champion.
You said that I was a little man,
May you find a handsome giant to carry you over the thresh hold
You said that I was a dragging you down,
I pray you find an angel to lift you above the cold.
