thoughts on nothing by ephaedrus
Nothing.
I have more than
I once never had.
Absence.
I hold onto it,
clinging tightly to my memories.
You can’t be sad,
If you were never happy.
That’s what I tell myself.
Something worth believing.
As the Chinese say,
seemingly backwardsly,
You have to eat bitter,
To taste sweet.
