On her face

I could see some anxieties on her face
They were clearly visible with wrinkles
She tried not to hide but definitely revealed
Those days were painful for her and in fact real

I am from the third generation
Very strong relation indeed with solid foundation
She was happy to see all members including grand children
Nice stage to feel but worries were apparently seen

I visited her whenever came on short vacation
She expressed her attachment with kind relation
She will probe in to my eyes with satisfaction
As her life was full of struggle and indignation

She had some kind of reservation and resentment
The behavior of family members was an embarrassment
She was sore at the treatment meted out
After all she had done enough and was not to be talked about

Somehow was drawn towards her and liked
In little of idle time her memory may invade and strike
She was full of love and evenly gave it to all
But I was favorite and responded to all her calls

Other family members too were obedient and courteous
But she was feeling irritation and became often outrageous
She wanted often full attention and enough of care
They were ready in fact but scared of her temperament and did not dare

I am of the opinion that all grandmas are attached more
Children also love and show courtesy therefore
She might be getting full joy when find among children
In a stage where such period is called sultry and barren

Even thought I too have attained full parenthood
Her feelings and resentment is clearly understood
I will sit by her bed side and comfort with sentiments
She too may respond with grateful eyes and comment

I know how difficult it is to observe and feel loneliness
When you are passing secluded life with troubled phase
I felt warmth of her gesture and deeply breathed
She was everything to me as from the beginning I had watched

Not all people may be lucky enough to have grandma at home
She is always there for us to console and welcome
How greatly children feel when chased hotly by parents?
Take refuge behind her back and silently wait
