More Campfire Stories

by MusicMaestro13

There are no such things as ghosts.
So why does it look like you've seen one?
Is it your past again?
Back from the grave?
Broken free from inhibitions chains,
escaped from the psychotic black temple in your brain.

Inside the penultimate doors lay dormant a beast
hunger knew no bounds, malice exponential.
It longs for the day that it can extract its revenge.

Don't be scared.
Don't be scared.
Don't go crazy.

Your internal demise is inevitable.
This secret is bursting out from inside you.
It cannot remain hidden for long.

It's alive! are you?
You created this horrible beast.
From one monster spawned another equally hideous.
Pray for a swift death. Pray.
There's nothing for you here anyways.

Make peace with yourself.
Lay your head down to rest.

The lie killed the liar.
Was it worth it?
