Bad Hair Day

a minute poem

My hair will simply not lay flat!
Pops up like that!
I comb it more.
My head is sore.

My mother thinks that I don't try
to make it lie
and stay in place,
stay off my face.

She thinks that I should use some Mousse
but it's no use.
My stubborn locks
will need some Ox.

Author Notes
That last line really did come from my stepson Billy (WilliamGregory). When he was about 5, I tamed his hair with mousse one weekend. The next weekend he visited, he asked if he could have some Ox for his hair. LOL. He's always had a way with words. It's great that he's using it for poetry now.
