Trigger Thoughts

Hidden away from prying eyes
You see in me, something that comes alive
A strength, my powers
Shouting, “Move over, I’m here!”
Can’t lie though….
that sometimes I’ve overcome by this fear:
That everything’s crumbling,
I’m fumbling
Looking for the right words to say…
While everyone plays
And I stay and stay,
pushing towards what I’m sure I want
But does that make me no fun?
Should I just become a nun….?
or pull the trigger of this gun?
