My heart still hopes
Still lingers on the possibilities
But the days go by
Days turn to years
And years into forever
But I promised myself
Someday I'll go back
One day you'll look up
And find me standing there
I imagine your face
I'll look gorgeous
You'll fall hard and fast
And you'll love me
Like you should have all along
But the moon's not made of cheese
The streets are not paved in gold
And I was just a fool
Who fell for the wrong guy
