A CHALLENGE

More than two thousand years
we lived in an extreme penury
How can we regain our lost status
and bygone glory within a century ?

We were deprived of the basic amenities
And suffered a lot from natural calamities !

You talk of merit and competency
without considering our painful past
We were degraded and brought to the level
of brutes and untouchable caste !

You enjoyed all the freedom and opportunities
for centuries together
We were the unfortunate beings
suffered a lot at the hand of our superior

You laugh at us and indulge in
refreshing our half-healed injuries
You violate our human rights
over many centuries !

Our Baba has broken the shackles of our slavery
Now, you'll come to know our might and armory !
