Accept the Love

Anxiety attacks the soul
confused and blinded by love
yet when you see that face
all you can do is smile
your body glistening in the night
as if everything is alright
women just don’t understand
that you can’t make a man
love you
if the love is not there
or make a man love you
the way you want to be loved
you have to accept how he loves
because maybe that’s the only way
he knows how to love.
