The Massacre of Gaza

Bullets whistled
Machine guns cackled
And one ton bombs had a blast

When the IDF
Helled a fireworks display
Hooray! The town was painted red.

Hospitals boomed
Rubble piles bloomed
And coffins sold like hot cakes

When the IDF

Death tolls tallied
Funerals rallied
And marytrs had their field day

When the IDF
Helled a fireworks display
Hooray! The town was painted red.

Once I heard a wise man say
“There are no winners in a war”,
So was the massacre of Gaza then

A fucking draw ?

Amnesty International concluded that an overall figure of some 1,400 fatalities occured, of which 300 were children. To put this in a little perspective there are roughly 500,000 people in Gaza so approximately 1 in every 500 were murdered as a result of the massacre. This would be equivalent to around 20,000 Israeli or 80,000 US citizens. I could not recommend enough the following documentary, if you've got 80 minutes to spare just take a look and get informed on the Palestinian issue.
