WHY I LOVE GP AND LOATHE THE LOW RATER

Every single time I bravely post
A poem or comment on GP
I endeavor to deliver my best work
For each of you to see

Some poems just seem to flow
With lines that fit right in place
Others may slightly miss the mark
And cause a fall from grace

So even if you rate me low
Though it might not make my day
I respect you and your views
And that makes it all okay

Of course ratings matter to us all
Excellence being our collective goal
Yet I crave your comments more
They warm my heart and feed my soul

Some truly make me laugh out loud
While some might bring a tear
Each one drives me to improve and grow
And, after all, isn't that why we’re here

So, to the childish Anonymous GP Low Rater
Slither back under that rock from which you crawled
We pay no mind to what you “DON’T” say here
You’re just a sad, slimy Hater with no life at all
