If I could I'd spill it all but how could I ever assume I've earned that right.
You don't dance under moonlight; the moonlight dances over your head.
No! I'll have to take this to my grave, Or risk falling from this height.
We'll learn everything in the end, Not from words but from all that is unsaid.

If I dream Heaven knows I don't deserve it.
I'll stick to my quiet reserve, I'm so unfit.
It'd be an understatement to say I'm scared.
I'm scared of every word I've not shared.

Not to say you'd be a mistake,
But I'm silent for friendship sake.

If I have everything to gain; Well then, I have everything to live for.
I have nothing to lose but the words that I keep and that I so deplore.
If I am damned as they say; Well then, I have no time left to wait.
I shall take handle of my fate and destroy these words I so hate.

I imagine ashed streets a thousand layers covered.
My home after I'm in a state of being watched upon by buzzards.
Entrance into a resting place of liars and Men of treason.
The heart cannot be reasoned with, No matter the reason.
