Poems - Facades
Thank you for reading my poem. My life comes out in my poetry. Once I wrote a story or poem, I can go on.
I look forward to hearing from you again and I also look forward to reading your works.
Thank you for taking the time and reading this selection.
I am happy you enjoyed my poem.
"The grass is not always greener on the other side". What a true statement.
There was a princess who was very beautiful, rich, and married a handsome man. She had everything.
During the day she paraded around town in beautiful clothing and the most bright smile one could muster and waving to everyone see seen. Everyone in town envied her.
Night time was her torture and real life. Her perfect world was not so perfect. Her handsome sick husband would burn her body with his cigarettes and she was not allowed to scream. Not touching the parts of her body that were exposed.
He warned her to always put a big smile on and dress your best in town, for if she didn't, and he found out, there was worst in store.
So yes my friend, life is a facade!!
