Gravity's Pull

I saw you struggling to,
needing to,
dying to
break Gravity's embrace.
You're enough, and I know you can do it, because Gravity gave me his confidence and promised you flight.
Why?
Because letting you go only made your return sweeter.
Your light steps and wispy arms make swallowing your weight as easy as sinking back to our familiar place of past ghosts and pin cushions.
In the end, Gravity will take you.
it will be like a kiss from dead lips and caresses from skeletal fingers.
All feeling, no emotion.
So tie up your toes, and pull back your strands of brown into your severest chignon and powder your pointes, then fly. Fly like a pheonix because you will burn, you'll crash so hard and then He'll gather you and make you burn deeper.
It'll be your last.
