Maybe This Time

As new i phone is unveiled,
a Wall Street demonstration placard reads,
"For the first time in my life, I feel at home"
We have lost our way, lost our beliefs
while lack of direction leads the way.
Compassion has left town,
last seen pushing the young aside,
citing reason, to help the old.
Change forced upon us, yet the change
desired always out of reach,
so I put my faith in the young, only because
of their information I never had.
They ask where's their new music,
their change of direction to mark these times?
But in the past, as Dylan twee - did he lead?
Maybe this time,
the real issues are now all that's on their minds?

I feel sorry for the young these days. More pressure in every turn for them. Life is more complicated these days to get thru. Good write. Very Happy
