Occupy this..

Those haters of capitalism-
on bringing it down, they are bent;
that one percent factional schism-
I'm not someone they represent.

I wonder if they take it literal,
the communist dream of this lot,
or think it might be hypocritical
exchanging those dollars for pot.

If we should all follow their dictums,
how quickly our land would devolve
to burglars and thugs and their victims
with much bigger problems to solve.

I doubt they'll withstand the cold season-
for fighting the power is hell!
Perhaps, soon, they'll occupy reason,
go home, and take showers as well.

I agree, another great write. I asked a budding marxist once how he'd stop capatalism, he couldn't answer and got upset and kicked a chair. pete. LOL .

like most things....pure capitalism or socialism are disfunctional.....a blend must be found.....I applaud the occupiers for getting off their ass and expressing decent from the norms that are swinging too far towards capitalisms acidic form....but i also applaud you for useing your head and expressing discontent in this well written poetic form...nice work poet....peace
