A boy's mother

I was a dream come true,
wish I had father like my neighbor too,
who despised not that a girl came through.

Farther it goes, deeper it digs,
that my mother wasn't let chances;
the next time could be a miss.

She had struggled she was ruled by,
that she had no love, when in need.
She was bound, and that noone gave.

A predicament, I was her freedom,
but she's the one I admire,
None like anyone, I know.

I like this poem, but it is a little bit hard for me to follow. i appreciate you sharing this and i like how you admire and honor your mother.

    I wrote this verse in first person. The scenario is about a boy who realizes that his father wanted a boy child and had his mother had failed to deliver him, she and her child would not have had any joy from the father of the child. That feeling makes the boy feel pity about his mother's fate though she was lucky to beget him.
