| | Fall Tempoby Pujakins
Like a flock of birds.
leaves scatter toward me.
Trees magnificent in their final glory;
enclose me with alleys of gold and brown
Soon the wind will reap the gold,
hide it in the earth, a dragon hoard,
that crumbles, becoming earth.
Brown and yellow swirling,
twirling their curling edges
rustling together as they drift,
leaves descend then rise
swirled by a little dust devil
air current mini whirl-of-wind.
Fluttering leaves mirror restless fall,
teasing with bright gold days
in the midst of grey ones.
The wind bites, excites,
rubs briskly with a loving hand,
polishing and sharpening wits.
The keen wind scurries the clouds,
shepherding them across changeable skies.
Fall's message is on the wind:
All is change, and growth,

Beatiful take on the season, Fall is my season so I may be biased but ha this was lovely. Love the rythms that pop along the poem as well.

oh Tasha this is so beautifully penned. "Brown and yellow swirling,
twirling their curling edges" is a particularly wonderful phrase and there is some really lovely imagery throughout. nicely done.
