| | "My" Coldby Pujakins
I "have" a cold--or so we say,
in truth the cold has us,
whether it grabbed us shopping
or riding on the bus.
"My" cold is getting better-
I trust not getting worse,
it seems I own what I don't want
descended like a curse.
If I wish to get rid of its symptoms
I'd better disown "my" cold
or I'll probably have it forever--
me and my germs growing old.
Begone stuffy nose, chest congestion,
you're surely not mine any more!
Take the hint, take whatever direction,
and bother me never no more!

Haha, I really enjoyed this one, Tasha, especially the last stanza. A cold found me a while back as well and though I ask it to go away it just refuses. Stubborn species, these colds.
