A Beautiful Person

Chaste as fresh fall snow

And unique as every flake

A footprint sullies

Breathtaking, feelings and imaginings

One half of civilization will never know, yet,

Still he endures aching moments of longing

To acquire but an infinitesimal fraction,

Exquisiteness no poet or artist may fashion

Nor beyond such beauty may a kinder

Heart be found or else mind be forged,

Touch upon your very reason

Adoring of kinship and life,

Giving of your valued body, of which

The other half believes they crave

And, just, just occasionally, see beyond.
