Butterflies are free (I dance when I fly)

Fluttering
and taking
the long way
around
the scenic route
noticing
while I flutter
and dance in your
direction
maybe and
what I hear
I dance to
I flutter to
scented breezes
of colors
while I take
the scenic route

Your poem really has a dancing quality to it. Lighthearted while keeping us grounded in the images. Thanks for the great read.

    one day i was paying these folks some attention and noticing.
    i tried to write what i saw. they rarely fly directly

      I don't know how to set up my text and font formatting with the available tools

      the original piece had words strategically place around the page like a butterfly flying

      help!!!

Nice. You brought back a memory with this one. Cowboy used to call me Breeze. This poem left me with a relaxing feeling. Very peaceful. Hope that all is going well with you, and that you are having fun with all that you are doing. Very Happy
