SOME POT--(a Conversant)

Lines 1-4--syllabically 2-4-6-8
lines 6-9 reverse 8-6-4-2
line five is a grande aside like a stage whisper.

Some pot
is what he said
so, does he want to share?
You get the stuff, I'll get the pipe.

Of course I was aware that all he truly wanted was to get laid.

We smoked and coughed it all, two bowls
hysterical laughter
chilled by champagne,
to bed.

I like the way this poem is constructed. you set the scene very well and made it a compelling read.
