Mission Impossible

by deepali

posing innocent,
they stealthily enter
in the guise of a song;
past the maze-like cochlea,
spreading as a virus,
manage to
infect
each auditory cell.

your whisperings-
the sweet nothings,
with a mission
to enslave all nerves-
have finally,
safely landed
on the surface
of my heart.

maybe mission improbable, not impossible.
sweet nothings always mean something.
wonderfully layed out poem ali. the first verse is sort of heart shaped - paul and heart hound.
