Love From My Point of View

There's something I need to tell you.
There's something you should know.
A very important warning
about what true love can do.

Real love is like insanity
And makes you lose control.
All that you can think about
Is that special someone who means the world to you.

You'll do absolutely anything for your love.
You'll fight to the very end
And even when the end is here
Surrender or letting go is never an option.

You will make concessions and give every ounce of yourself
Just to please your love and make her happy.
You will spend hours massaging and making love to her
For no other reason than it makes her happy.

But true love has it's downfalls
Because even a couple who are truly in love may not make it.
Life gets in the way, Each might be at different times in their lives,
And when that happens you face an utlimate reality......

That even being truly and unquestionably in love
with someone who you want to spend the rest of your life with
DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN that you will be happy forever....
It can also mean that you'll be tortured for the rest of your life
knowing each of you truly love each other but can't be together.

But I'll tell you something that love does give you that is incredible.
An undying hope that someday we'll be together again. Someday...
