"Cool," the Slang Survivor

In the 50s you were "boss" or "aces."
By the 60s you were "hip" or "groovy."
By the 70s you were "superbad."
By the 80's you were "awesome," "rad,"
A pretty "gnarly" movie.
By the 90's you were many things,
And peeps would look and say:
"That's tight" "That's tits" "That's real badass."
"That's sick" "That's sweet" "That's all the way."
It's now a good thing to be "phat."
Still, "cool" is here to stay.

You cool with that?

Down here the slang with pictures is..."churr churr" and the head gets an upward nod with the eyebrows......or "sweet as.."..with the thumbs up.....so "yeah bro"..I'm all "churr churr "and sweet as..(thumbs up) with your write Chris... Smile

too short lived were "bad' and "foxy"
the "bomb" and "the shit" were passing fad
"keen"and "bitchin" lost their moxy
and passed away with dear old dad....

Good one Chris...
I'm certain my kids used 'schoolyard slang' knowing I had no idea what they were about. Example: for me, grass is what grows out the back door. Ice is what I put in a drink.
