Fire Petals

by Pujakins

The flame
comes from the sun,
from wood
grown in the light,
from wood
cut from a tree,
set afire
to release the heat of the sun
As it bursts into new life
its blossom warms me.

This is great. "grown from light", "its blossoms warms me". These are what makes your poems so wonderful. The way you express your thoughts. I love your work. Great write!

G'day Tasha...
Fire can become our greatest friend or our worst enemy. In your poem fire is a friend.
Thank you Tasha

Flame petals is a very intriguing idea, and this was a very wise write. I hope perhaps I can write a "flame" poem and use it for symbolic purposes. You did this well.
