Poems - I never knew

I never knew

I never knew till he dropped the bomb
Day before he had taken me to beautiful tomb
Known for beautiful love story of past
It happened in my real life quick and fast

He can’t be termed as coward
Yet he had no courage to look forward
Afraid of taking correct decision
His logic lacked teeth and precision

I had doubt about his wisdom
But I lacked courage and doubted seldom
I was of the firm belief with simple view
Such steps were required by only few

Boys are ready to sacrifice
May come with full of promises
But in real time ditch the love and disappear
May not respond well if called from rear

I have no regret for having association
Love is such beautiful God’s incarnation
You dream about lovely life with good relation
But if no then it can push you to tough isolation

I couldn’t stop tears from rushing
I hardly tried for any kind of pushing
I allowed it to come out freely
As I wanted it to go in drain happily

I shall soon recover from shock
As they may soon run out of stock
I have long way to go and resurface
With same smile and bright face

Love failure is temporary face
You can’t go on making mad chasse
Past is past and must be forgotten soon
It will be useless to cry when see bright moon

I have learnt a lesson
It is difficult for person
To forget easily and adjust
Yet one must move forward and it is must
