two and a half (a poem for me and saadiq)

i think today
that i'm still two and a half

that today
i'm still impulsive

still learning

still stubborn

still inquisitive

still sneaky

still adorable

it's something about my eyes
they are so kind

i could not possibly be doing
anything wrong

could i?

Nice ... you've captured the sense of innocence and lack of intent that makes being a two and a half year old so attractive.

    thanks for stopping by.

    discovered that Kroger grocery store carries many of the Dr. Seuss books.

    he may well be my all time (no offence) favorite poet
    reading his works encourages me.

This is about an adorable child. So sweet. I think that any child would love this as a bedtime poem!
