SANDUSKY / PATERNO

SANDUSKY / PATERNO

uncovered
curtain shrouding a human pig
dropped before our eyes
see the maggot
reptile behind the mask
held in high praise
on and off the field each day
but behind closed doors
children’s innocence bled raw
hired, hidden and harbored
shrouded from the law
the need to win games was the task
but he had a need
for a different kind of score

pedophile running rampant through the halls
under darkness he stalks as his nature calls
the school complied with its shared need
to hide the truth, to praise the rat
like a grime encrusted on their walls
innocence decimation
lies, lust and winning games
for a predator’s safe haven
college of the Liberty State
smell of rights being gut and raped
and the filth of child molestation

the stalker knew he was free to roam
when you give the lion a lair he will call it home
cover for him, keeping his actions unknown
let him grow strong and confident
help the little man to become full-grown

your legacy is of lust and perversion...nothing more
your existence is but a farce
with dangerous hands, no remorse
and a mentality that is raw
on humanity's face you are boil
on society's ass, an infected gland
your passions oozing out like oil
touching children makes you feel like a man

...and if you know and you look away it's like using your own hand

and yes, melt down the campus quack!
at the very least behead the statue
turn him around
and show everyone his back
when innocence was dying, he heard the sound
he stood silent, drooling perhaps
to conspire is to be quiet
showing clear the decency that he lacked

Such a shame that it was allowed to go on so long; that protection of an evil privilege was allowed to spread and stain so many innocents. Sports, academics, and millions... an uneasy alliance at best. Well done, Mary Ann
