To The Sun Shining on Me Across Seas

As oft as my heart grows wet and sober
She has stood in all her might to dry my tears
Lighting my world from across the seas
Aye! How old sad memories blinded my vision
Yet, come each thought of her presence
I feel a million times revived in my weakness
Afresh to climb the mountains of life before me
Only the birds of the air could sing to her my gratitude
Which words may fail to paint from my heart
Or the clouds of heavens could tell rightly her goodness
Which my smiling face may fail to express so well
But I tell you this, Noble Sun,
You fulfill the wishes of God in my life
And for this, God will repay you in boundless measures
