Shapeshifter

Whenever I get angry and I turn mean
I'll shapeshift into something that's never been seen
I twist my mind, heart, and soul until I change
I shapeshift into something new almost every day

I do it because it's all I know
I'm good at being uncomfortable

Stretched out and hung up on a wire to dry
The pain of transformation lessens with time
I'm sorry if the next time we meet I'm not the same
It's just something that's wrong with my brain

I do it because it's all I know
I'm good at being uncomfortable

I will shapeshift until the day that I die
I'll be locked up with nobody else nearby
They think I'm crazy and paranoid
The truth is I'm depressed and annoyed

great rhymes...shapeshifting is a valuable skill ...you could have gone even deeper with this....super work poet
