Poems - THE SAINT

THE SAINT

Once upon a time
I met with a saint
He told me his life
How he had spent;

In his childhood
He attained manhood
Later on he,not married
But went to the woods
With the ideas that he carried.

There he practiced Yoga,
Became a saint;
Thus how his major life was spent!

Some years later he died
Or had Samadhi in a cave,
I do not know of his creed
Or what he to the society gave?

He might have had the moksha
And got rid of rebirth?
Did he serve the human life?
Was that Worth?
