Fall Changes

A certain coolness fills the air
Not the relief from summer’s heat
Or that of winter’s warmer days
So clear is the sky you can see for miles
You sense a feeling in this weather
As if the air has altered purpose
Replacing growth with that of change
More of the stars than of the sun
Sparkling within the daytime hours
As the sun loses its shine
Taking away the warmth and light
Giving to us star-studded nights
