Long Road

Once I was down and up seemed so far away.
Almost like drowning in a sea of yourself.
Clawing myself to the surface was impossiable.
Blue waves of regret washed over me.
But now I see the red that bleeds within.
And my heart pounds with a fury unknown.
And I push myself up again only to falter.
But when you fall the only place to go is up.

beware cliches, kill the intent, i'm sure that behind this words a great poem is yet to be written, needs some work, add imagery, metaphor and take care of the sequence or thoughts, it is very important to do so.
