Hey you!

Did you forget about me?
I was the child you left behind.
All grown up now I am.
Beyound your hurt, beyound your reach.
I didn't come to ask you why.
Truth is, I don't care at all.
I just wanted to be sure.
I had to see this for myself.
I won't shed a tear for you.
I'm not really sorry to see you go.
I guess somehow that is cruel.
But I never knew you anyways.
So I guess you are gone now.
And I guess I should be going.
It's starting to rain now.
And you know I hate the rain.
No....I guess you wouldn't.....would you.

One should be aware that love poems can easily fall into a cliche standard and this is no gooda great poem is yet to be written, needs some work, add imagery, metaphor and take care of the sequence or thoughts, it is very important to do so.
