Weekly senselessness

The hum of a dishwasher
Full of week-old dishes
Announces that
A day full of senselessness
Has just begun
Next is laundry
That started with a couple of things
A week ago
And grew into a mountain of
Whites
Colors
Cottons
Wools
Blends
All with their own labels with instructions
On how to do it right
Like I have time for this nonsense
Next is a litter box
Making my cat smile
Next is a pile of mail
Trying to understand what is worth keeping
Giving up and throwing everything away
Next is a car
A fertile ground
For multiplying garbage
Much like the house but worse
Next is plants I think I watered already this month
By the time I feed the cat
(Sure he has to shit in fresh litter now)
Take a shower
(Next week’s laundry now)
Eat something
(Next week’s dishes now)
Check the mail box
(Next week’s sorting)
Half a day is gone
Wasted time
Of this
Weekly date with
Senselessness

a good one B! I don't have weekly senselessness but daily ones like Drug study,nursing care plans, case study,readings and a lot of studying EVERYDAY!( tired)
