stop pain

Pain is such a pain
don’t know where to begin
spray on Stopain
What is that smell?
I won’t tell

pop some pills
causing you to feel ill
taking Pepto Bismo
looking a bit like gizmo

hot pads
hot showers
not for young lads
climbing to the tall towers

Is there any relief?
crying tears
drinking many beers
falling asleep
in a stupor

hoping the morning will subside
but worse I am afraid
those labels told a lie
wanting to die
