Hurting blossom

What would I give for a second of joy,
whose whitest beauty enshrouds and unfurls.
What would I give for a moment of peace,
so that I may lay just a little while longer.

What would God say to the forlorn flower,
who hangs ever pausedly upon the invisible edge.
What would God say to the heretic flower,
who has turned its face away to meet only ice.

And what would the voices of past say
to another tinged with regret.
What anxieties would they have
and exasperation as well?

And the stations of life loomed over apocalyptic like.
Of death came naught messenger but only melodic certitude.
Friend, fear never the haunt'th blood-steeped horror,
but fear the brutal negation of all emotion's fortitude.
